the 2nd National Conference on Trans Joy | The Trans Joy Project (Kham Phet Mee Sook)
The Trans Joy Project (Kham Phet Mee Sook) successfully hosted the 1st National Conference on Trans Joy (Well-being) on March 13-14, 2023, in collaboration with partner organizations. A total of 189 participants attended, making it the first-ever space where trans communities and healthcare providers could come together to collaborate. It was a safe and empowering environment where trans activists could share knowledge, build networks, and strengthen our movement.
But now, we don’t have to wait any longer—because the 2nd National Conference on Trans Joy is coming back on March 31 - April 1, 2025, with over 300 participants expected to join!
What’s special about this year’s conference?
A Pre-Conference session on March 30, 2025, exclusively for over 120 trans and non-binary community members—a space to connect, discuss gaps in trans well-being, and strengthen our network.
A community empowerment space to reflect on the current situation, address needs and challenges, and exchange knowledge across groups.
A bridge between the trans community and medical professionals, service providers, and institutions, creating awareness across all sectors to ensure better health and well-being for trans people.
A platform for tracking policy progress, identifying gaps in government action, and pushing for trans well-being to be recognized on a global scale.
This year is going to be bigger and better!
At a time when trans communities are facing rising transphobia and setbacks in trans rights advocacy, the Trans Joy Project, together with 28 co-organizing organizations, is committed to making the 2nd National Conference on Trans Joy a safe space for everyone. We stand in solidarity with trans activists and allies, ensuring that this conference uplifts, strengthens, and empowers our movement.
We will fight, we will not back down, and we will stand together.
